I had always had an interest in interiors and soft furnishing and so when it came to the finishing of our re-modeled home I needed to find someone with an understanding of what I wanted.

RD Design has the most wonderful showroom with lots of inspiring samples and pattern books, wonderful and unusual tie backs and curtain poles.  I was made to feel welcome on all my visits, books were shown, samples displayed and ideas put forward with out pressure or intimidation.

I knew that I wanted a contemporary look with splashes of colour that would echo through out the house. I like neutral colours that have texture and depth.

Rachel had just the right approach to my project.  I did not need the full design service on offer just help putting together the right fabrics for the right rooms. Linking things together with rugs, lights, cushions and the most exquisite tie backs and braids.

I was able to lead the discussions so I never felt that I had to have what Rachel suggested and we made changes to the choice of fabrics when some where out of budget but the replacements were just as effective.

The one thing that Rachel had no control over was the waiting time for delivery of the fabric but even this was dealt with professionally and with notice.  I had the chance to change the fabric for something that was in stock but decided to wait for the original one.

The making of the curtains is simply fantastic. The attention to detail is there and only two curtains needed very small adjustment. Fitting and expertise was constantly shown.
